How it works:
- Book An Appointment by calling 305.777.3505 and let us know you would like a telehealth appointment.
- Before your appointment we may send you a request for additional health information via a secure form.
- Launch your visit. You’ll receive a link from us via email. When it’s time for your appointment simply click the link and say hello!
The benefit of scheduling your telehealth visit with Dr. Mafut rather than a large provider is that she will take the time needed to thoroughly understand your child’s symptoms. As your child’s primary care physician, if your child must be seen in person, she will be able to make that decision and see you as quickly as possible, but also provide recommendations to make your child more comfortable in the meantime. By having your child’s history, she will be better equipped to provide an effective treatment plan than a physician you have just met.
This quicker way of reaching us may be a better option for many non-critical conditions than a crowded emergency room. In pediatrics, telemedicine is often effective for general health education, as well as for routine visits for cold, flu, cough, sore throat, upset stomach, skin conditions, appointment follow up, and some prescription refills.
